I recently had my whole camshaft changed cuz of a weird rattling noise and its all fine now it doesn't make the noise but now the check engine light turned on and it didn't have it on when i took it in. I went to autozone to get checked out and the code is P1349. But there could be a possible 6 causes!! Where do i start? I have a 2000 Celica GTS.

I have found that when there are that many things that could be wrong, it is usually just cheaper to go to the dealership and let them figure it out.. You could spend hundreds of dollars trying to figure it out and they can narrow it down with a computer.. Just easier that way too.

P1349 according to the trouble codes table is VVT system malfunction (Bank 1)
trouble areas it states are VVT, OCV, VVT controller assembly and ECM.

I'm can shed any more light onto this for you i'm sorry, but I would advise at lease to buy and OBD2 (OBDII) scanner of which many are available on eBay. At least in future you can get the code for yourself and not have to pay a garage silly money just to diagnose the problem
