Drives: 1998 Toyota Sienna LE 3.0L V6
Location: USA
Two months back my Check Engine light came on. Repair shop ran diagnostics and ended up being converter and had repaired. Light came on a few days later. Repair shop ran diagnostics again, found nothing wrong. Reset memory. Since then, the light continues to come on for a week or two at a time, then goes out for a couple days, then comes back on again.

Has anyone experienced this before?

It means something else is wrong. Have the codes read again and post the code(s) here, then we can help you out further. Without the codes, it's just a guessing game.

If my gas cap is not on tight my engine light comes on.
