Hi!
I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE and never had problem since purchase. I just notice lately that after I back-up the car I will always hear a click sound after I put it on drive, drive for a couple of feet and step on break. I don't know where the click is comming from but it doesn't repeat until I stop again, backup, drive, brake. Anyone have experience this problem or have idea on what is causing the clicking sound?
It basically happens on the first time I step on break after changing gear from reverse to drive.

hi, if understood you right, the click happen when you step on the break. if you will hear carefully, the click comes from the shift gear, its OK, this is for not changing the gear to drive then you not stepping the break, for avoiding accident by mistake.

I have this problem too. There is a click coming from somewhere in the middle of the car and sometimes multiple clicks when I depress the brake pedal. This is not consistent (drat) but occurs mosting when I first start driving. What other problems could cause this on a 2008 corolla LE?

i've also had this problem and it feels like it's with the brakes because you can feel it in your feet. I don't know what it really is. it runs just fine and all
