Hi, Can anyone help, for about 3 weeks the clutch peddle on my 1990 celica GTR has been sticking down in 1st gear only, you had to put your foot underneath and it would pop back up, but today on trying to park it was getting stuck in 1st and reverse gear, because of not taking your foot right the peddle, making parking a nightmare, is this my clutch on its way out, or is there a spring somewhere on the peddle. Hope someone can help..... Many thanks Brad.

I'm thinking either the clutch cable has frayed or needs lubed or the release bearing is sticking? I reckon first gear is the only gear you conciously push the pedal right to the floor so it doesn't show on 2,3,4,5.
