I have a first generation, and it went at about 160K,
so you might have some more time. My mechanic did it
for about $250, but he is awesome. My suggestion, call
a few big names(firestone, etc..) see what they want,
and then call around to some smaller shops that you
trust, and then ask some co workers. If you buy a
Toyota, find a mechanic that likes working on them and
has worked on them. They will know what to look out
for, and they know the tricks to use when fixing
them(ie access points, etc..) If you live near Austin,
I will give you my mechanic's number.
