I'm glad you guys suggested coasting in "N" - I
keep experimenting with it, and thus far have not met
with any negative messages from the car. The rolling
resistance of this car seems to be VERY low, it just keeps
going and going..... I think everyone ought to try
coasting in N at least once. If the ground were level,
perhaps you could push the car at jogging speed, like a
parent running with their baby buggy. (You might be able
to jog with a car load of kids, as long as one of
them can steer....)<br><br>Also...you can create the
same effect with the shift in "D" if you feather the
accelerator. As others have pointed out, with your foot off
the accelerator, the car slows down like an ordinary
car, but in this car it's due to engine braking which
charges the battery. A slight depression of the pedal
cancels this effect, and the car "coasts".
