A good diagnostics might be on the works. I have this same problm on another vehicle of mine ('92 525i). After replacing the O2 sensor, everything was fine for a couple of weeks. Now CEL comes on intermittently. Very hard to diagnose very erratic. Might have to change the O2 sensor again???? Just my $.02 worth.... Das Boots
