I am constantly experiencing the P1349 engine check light on my 2003 Toyota IPSUM which has a 2AZ FE engine. This light comes on only when the car is moving and when I have driven a kilometer or so. In the morning or when the engine is cold, there is a rattle in the hood, caused I think by some kind of resonance. If I press the cylinder head cover, the sound subsides. I am not happy driving the car like that since last Christmas the VVTi actuator worked loose, damaging the mechanism and I had to replace with a new one. The Toyota Agents seem stuck since I have to keep returning the car but not solution comes.
