Has anyone made modifications to there 2010 Toyota Corolla like a Cold Air intake? Just wondering if any mods have been performed, if they were successful and whether or not they void the warranty? Thanks in advance

The easiest and cheapest intake mod is very easy to do. This is something I've come up with and a few guys on Toyotanation have tried it and liked it.

1. Remove the airbox cover and remove the polution screen in the top of the box with a flat blade screwdriver. This filter is not necessary and only inhibits good air flow. It will not harm anything to remove it, but once you do, it is not re-usable.

2. Replace the air filter with a TRD or K&N high performance air filter.

3. Remove ALL of the intake plumbing in front of the air box. That includes all of the plastic tubing and flex pipe. It's only a couple of plastic clips and 10MM bolts. Very easy and fast to do.... about 10 minutes.

The engine will now breathe easier and give you better responsiveness. It sounds really good as well. Not noticeable at cruise, but you can definitely hear a nice growl when you open it up. This works just as good as the Weapon R or any of the short intake systyems that cost $250-$300. All you'll spend is $50 for the better air filter.

It will take a few days to a week for your ECU to adjust to the new intake set-up to get the full benefit. If you drive it hard, you will get about 2 MPG less per gallon, but that's just the way it is for the tradeoff for more top end power. There really is no difference on the low end, but it will feel better at high RPM's.
