Hi, I have a 1987 fj60 landcruiser, she hates the cold weather and I live in northern MN. Unless I remember to plug her in she will not start.Any ideas?

I have owned an fj40 and a fj60 and I have found that almost any problem with the engine being hard to start, running bad, or pinging are all caused by a vacuum line or an emission controll device of some kind. Here is my advice get rid of all of that crap you can and you will be alot better off. My 79 fj has a weber carb on it with no smog pump or egr and all but a few vacuum lines gone and it made it right through DEQ.
