Location: USA
Bought my '88 convertible new, and have babied it ever since. I was told to take care of the boot--they were $600 to replace back then. Boy, I did.
Car caught fire last month and was a total loss. The boot wasn't on it, and it's all I have left of the otherwise perfect car. The boot looks brand new, but I have nothing to put it on. So it's for sale, best offer.
