Hey,
my new rav4 is on order.
I was thinking of adding a tow bar . Apprently for the xt5 you can only get a replaceable tow bar
my dealer is quoting me 594 GBP inc installation.

Is there anything cheaper anywhere that would do the job
is it worth going to a different dealer

Most dealerships charge HUGE amounts for labour . I would suggest purchasing a tow bar from ebay or amazon.com and then finding a local custom shop rather than the dealership. I have found that this can save you HUNDREDS on certain items.
