My new corolla its very bumpy on almost any road, I read in other sites that corolla are smooth to drive... It's there a problem with my car or it is just normal? I check the tire's pressure: 35PSI +/-

thanks!

35 PSI sounds kinda high for a little car like that. Thats the PSI that Ford suggest for my F-150, and thats a fullsize truck that weighs 4500 pounds.
How is your tire wear? You could try dropping the tire pressure down to 30 PSI and see how the ride and tire wear is.

I have an 07 corolla and it was very bumpy when I first got it. The tires were at the correct tire pressure (35 psi) the problem was the tires ! the Bridgestone tires that come stock are horrible! I replaced them with Michelin Hydroedges and this fixed the problem, and they have better wet traction, and alot better ride. Plus a 90,000 mile warranty !

I've been curious about the bumpy ride myself. Seems as though it's smoother on blacktop (especially new blacktop) than concrete. I've noticed that on concrete surfaces, it's as though I'm constantly bouncing, though there are no noticible bumps on the road! Oh, and when using the headrest, I'm constantly bouncing off it, making it feel as though I've been on a roller coaster ride at the end of my 30-mile commute to work every day. Worse yet, I took the Corolla to my Toyota dealer for an oil change and tried to explain the issue...the guy explained it off as being this way because of the cold weather (but why it didn't effect other vehicles, he couldn't explain). Before this explanation, he asked me if I was drunk when this happened. Not cool Toyota dude...especially since I haven't drank one ounce of alcohol in my life! They did check the shocks and everything seemed fine to them. I don't know what the solution is, but every time I see the '09 Corolla TV commercial praising the smooth ride I do a double-take. Oh well. If someone has an answer, I'd want to know too!

I have the similar problem on corolla 2001 and i sold my previous corolla due to similar reason. I am also not able to find the problem. It is boucing up and down when vehicle is slow between 5-20 KPH. If you trace this problem let me know.
