Hi Everyone!
I'm new and learning! I'm from Hawaii, got my Corolla in 2005 and want to start some mods. Can anyone suggest anything?

Welcome aboard Lauralee.

There may be some older posts in the Corolla forum that perhaps relate to what you're looking for.

You're in the right place.

You should start with the basics if your unfamilar with cars. Look up cold air intakes for starters, then maybe a cat back exhaust. If you want to take it further maybe a header. I nice short throw shifter if its a stick too. then you go with the bling in my opinion.

That's a pretty nice list, and in the right order too!Look into TRD, they usually make some nice stuff strictly designed for the corollas. I am looking into their exhaust system right now...

All I can suggest is to take it slow or one step at a time...Modified another car (not a corolla) and went crazy doing so...only led to more money/costs/problems.

Good point. That's an issue with most people. My brother in law is saving to doit all at once, and all I see is problems just heading in.

How much are mods to a corolla roughly? I have no idea. I have a 2006 and I would love to do some stuff to my car...any ideas for a low budget (still in college lol)
