Im thinking of putting a Cosmo or Weapon R short ram intake on my 08 Corolla S (drive-by-wire model), but i need some feedback from users with short ram intakes, gains? problems?, complications?, or any particular problems with the Cosmo or Weapon R brand?, thanks.

I have a short ram fujita intake. Works fine. I dont really trust the weapon R on e bay. Go with intake that are well known like AEM or injenz or fujita or K&N. No probelsm at all and passes smog. Just dont floor it because itll make a uber nice sound! VvvvvrrrrOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM! : )

From what I've read online. short ram intakes dont take in as much air as a regular one would. if it gets routed to an area behind the bumper so it can get more air flow, it can take in more air producing more performance
