Hey guys, I was wondering if everyone could help me out with a favor. I was wondering if each person here could send an e-mail to Toyota asking them to bring the Hiace over to the North American market.

In detail, could you explain to Toyota how this would be beneficial to both them and the North American market (ALL aspects of NA's full-size van market, even if you have to do a little research) itself? Also, it might be more effective if you beforehand, already acknowledge that they "do not currently have any announced plans to introduce the Hiace" as such, but still press them to consider it.

It would be real nice to see the Hiace here. Nissan is already planning to enter this market.

Thanks for your help.

The problem with your otherwise great idea is that Canada and the US have laws dictating that the engine must be ahead of the driver in new cars. Which cuts the Hiace out of the market, unfortunately.

But to remind everyone, the Hiace that has been sold in European Union area already over a decade has the engine front of the passengers. (Due to safety rules also) Somehow it has been a surprise for people here when telling that the "noseless" version is still produced.
