Hi, I have a 1995 Toyota Corolla.
About a month ago I had the rear tires replaced and had the new tires put on the front and the front tires moved to the rear. More or less immediately after I left the tire shop I noticed this creaking in my front driver side tire that seems to occur as the tire rotates. At speed it's hard to notice, but when I'm going slowly through town with my windows open I can hear this brief, quick creaking sound whenever there is a wall or something to bounce the sound off of nearby.
A friend suggested it could be the wheel bearing going out, he also suggested it could just be the hubcap being improperly put on after the tire change. I just thought I'd ask in here to see if others might know of any other possibilities, as I am perpetually broke and so I'd just as soon not go to a mechanic unless there's some real danger.
Anyway thanks for any advice peoples.
