Hi, my work van is a Liteace - recently these lights have been coming on intermittently. Can anyone tell me what they mean?

I am going to guess.

The left is for low oil and the right is low coolant in the radiator.

There's another light for low oil, to the left of the brake light - this one has the wavy line underneath the oil lamp. Something to do with heat?

I'm going with secrecy guy. I think he has them labeled right. At least he does as far as my car is concerned.

The orange light with the picture of the oil can with a wavy line underneath it is the LOW OIL indicator. There is a sensor on the side of the sump that detects when the oil is low.



Some vehicles have a temperature sensor for the oil in the auto transmission.

I'm pretty sure Secracy has them right, you can check your owners manual to be certain. I know most manuals have all the dashboard lights listed.

there are two oil can indicator light. the red oil can beside the brake indicator light is a warning for low oil pressure. the orange oil can with the wavy line underneath is a warning for low oil level. all the red indicator lights need immediate attention (brakes,alternator,oil pressure etc)while the orange light is just a reminder(low oil level, busted light bulb, windshield water level, t-belt - means you have to change your timing belt, usually set at 100,000 kms.)

I have a '93 (63K miles). A dealer quoted me $255 to replace all the bulbs in the dash - I have one burned out. I suggest replacing all of them so you don't have to repeat the process.<br><br>I also have two burned out in the A/C control - they say it can't be replaced without a $500+ computer module YUCK.<br><br>Sorry I can't help more.
