Greetings from Scotland to everyone, just registered and wondered if there was anyone who can help me.

I have a 1994 super custom diesel, the battery went flat and was recharged but when I tried to start van it makes a clicking sound, dash lights come on and there is a continual bleeping noise.It sounds like maybe there is an electrical fault that is cutting out the charge. I also tried another battery with no luck.

It sounds like a loose connection. Can you be sure of the state of the second battery?

Bear in mind that diesels need a LOT of starting power and don't like questionable batteries or poor connections.

Both batteries found to be flat !!!..............jump started from another vehicle fiirst time.........duh
