Hello everyone! I'm the proud owner of a 2006 Toyota Corolla CE. I purchased it about a month ago from a dealer in Dallas.

The car only came with one keyless entry remote. After a brief internet search, I realized that the remote was not a toyota remote, but a semi-aftermarket remote with FCC ID ELVATDD. Hence, I ordered one just like it on Ebay.

After about 4 hours of trying to program the new remote to work like the other, I still have not had success. All of the instructions which I have found online seem to indicate that I have an dealer/port installed system, but nothing works. Has anyone had a case like this? Even the dealership in town is confused and isn't sure what to do...

Any advice would be appreciated!
