AMI Auto World Magazine quotes H & R Block's senior tax researcher: "On the 1040 form it's a deduction to 'Adjusted Gross Income' on luine 32. And you have to write the words 'Clean Fuel Deduction' on a blank line."

The surplus is NOT rapidly disapearing. Anyway, the budget has been passsed and is done. The provisions can't change until next year.

> Last I heard was that due to the rapidly
> dissapearing surplus the hybrid credit is
> likely to be dropped from the budget.

>The surplus is NOT rapidly disapearing. Anyway, the budget has been passsed and is done. The provisions can't change until next year.>

I would call a reduction in the projected surplus in May of $275 billion to $165 billion now a rapidly disapearing surplus.

http://www.msnbc.com/news/599289.asp#BODY

The budget is just a guidline and the appropiation bills can be adjusted to compensate.

I recall seeing that the new hybrid credit would be likely to be dropped but could not find the source. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the new hybrid credit to be passed.
