Is anyone else having problems keeping their windows free of condensation?

I've had a Corolla for 22 years now and never had this before...

The Defrost A/C setting will clear the front window, but (especially if there are passengers in the back) the rear side windows never come completely free in cool weather. The rear window defroster has to be on all the time in cold weather.

In the summer & fall the front windscreen would regularly fog over unless I was running the defrost A/C - which is not exactly great for fuel consumption, and I've never had to do this previously.

I've checked the cabin air filter, fan & A/C are working fine...Any thoughts before I take this in to me dealer?
(Just trying not to sound nuts when I go in!)

I'm having similar issues too and I have "fresh air" setting on. What I did was just lower the back windows a bit and it will clear / prevent fogging on the rear window.

Do you have the rubber all weather mats in the car? I have them in my 2009 Corolla and on snowy or rainy days water collects in them and I have a hard time defrosting my side windows too. But other then that the Corolla defrosts fine for me.

I rented a 2009 Corolla a couple weeks ago and found the same problem. I'm in Ontario, Canada, and it has been cold lately, but my 2003 Corolla CE has no problem clearing the windows (we won't talk about the manual transmission though...). It was so bad that the defrost was on high throughout most of the trip, and while I could nearly keep the front-side windows half-clear, the rear windows were a lost cause, icing over completely. This would be enough to knock the car of my list of potential replacement vehicles when I shop (that and the ugly 80's orange interior lighting on the base CE I rented).
