hi does anyone know if the HiHace 1997 3l turbo efi can run on a mix of veg/diesel as this can be now in the now in the uk thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

You can run almost any diesel engine on straight vegetable oil - but the trick is FILTERING!

It must be SUPER well filtered.

Blends of diesel / vege oil will be fine as well - with the same provision - filtering.

I have a friend who has been collecting used cooking oil from restaurants and running his 2.8 non turbo Hiace on it.

No problems at all.
