Hello,

I have this mystery water leak happening on my 1988 Commuter bus. I recently aquired and the other day it started dripping out water quite a bit from directly below the balancer. I thought on the spot it would have been a blown water pump gasket so I went ahead and got the new water pump. The original motor was apprently a 3L but this water pump seems to suit a straight L motor as I was told.

After replacing the water pump, I filled the radiator and put everything back and it leaks exactly the same as it was doing before, directly below the balancer. What water jackets are on the front of the motor because it can't be leaking from the water pump again!

Regards,
Matt.
