Hi All

I have a 2wd hilux 2.4d pick up '96.
the heater stopped working the other day, coolant level is fine and no overheating going on,
then 3 days later the diesel water light and the battery light both came on together,( well never went off after start up) i thought my alternator belt may have came off but no, all is good there.
I can't see any visual problems, I haven't had chance to check my alternator with a meter as it won't stop raining long enough !! but it has started up a good few times over the last few days and drove fine with the lights on as well, so i think the battery is either lasting well or getting charged ok still.

I'm starting to think these problems are related in a strange way.
Anyone else have any experience of this?

Check the alternator charging, 100% sure that is your problem.
