I just joined and hopefully everyone can give me a little more info on 4x4 tacomas. I have a 98'SR5 4x4 ext.cab stock to the bone. I have been running it through any mud I can find (usually in the everglades)and I haven't gotton stuck yet. Because lifts are pricey, I am considering just throwing a limited slip, some new shocks, and 31' MTs. Any advice? Should I save some cash and go with a 4" or 6" lift? I don't want to mess with the stock engine or axles.
