Hi All,

The issue of the smelly AC systems has been brought up many many times on this forum. We have a 2008 Rav 4 6 cyl and this is a dreadful situation. I am in sales ans embarrassed to take a client in my car. Has anyone had luck lately with a dealer addressing and getting rid of the problem.

We bought our Rav 4 as a certified used car and I m now convinced that this Rav 4 was returned because of this problem Is there any relief for this problem? I have sprayed the special order eating foam in the vents both in and outside and it helps for about a week and it comes back almost stronger. Any advice? The Toyota Company and the dealers are obviously avoiding this issue if it is so prevalent.

Thanks Doug in Houston

Have you replaced your cabin air filter located behind the glove box?
