Hello! I have a 3.0 diesel turbo intercooler Hilux but I modified my car, I have 20¨ rims but I guess rims and the way I drive makes a big difference on the usage of the disck breaks!........ But anyways i think most of you will agree with me on how much BS! it is that the hilux comes with ¨DRUMS¨ in the back!! I Am ing of buying Disc breaks to put in the back of my car! Any ideas! Thanks

You may have a problem converting to disks in the rear as in the load compensating proportional brake valve located under the tray, I don't know if that is compatable with disk brakes or not. I have in the past tricked the valve into thinking the ute is loaded thus giving more brake bias to the rear wheels, but I WILL NOT recommend doing that because if you make the valve think the ute is loaded then the brakes will come on a lot harder in the rear and possibly cause you to spin the vehicle out under brakes or even worse have an accident due to the brakes coming on too savagley and locking your rear wheels. YOU DO THIS ENTIRLEY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Maybe you could look at maybe Landcruiser rear disks and calipers paired with of course the load compensating valve off the same vehicle as the brakes. Or maybe you could just slow down a bit :)
