I disconnected the battery on my 98 4Runner SR5 to work on the horn switches in the steering wheel and when I reconnected the battery I have no power to the radio. The radio is stock and I have good fuses and have checked the power coming out of the fuses and all is good. It has a factory security system, but I don't think the radio is integrated into it. My shop manual says if security system is labled on the radio then there is a code that needs to be punched in, for it to work. I've had the battery out before and had no issues. The clock display is dim and goes out when you open the door. I know the clock, radio and dome lights are on the same fuse, but I would think it would blow the fuse if there was a short somewhere. I have tryed pushing the 1 and 6 and pushing the CD button three times and nothing. Any ideas would be great.
