Bought a 1994 toyota previa with surplus japan engine. Changed cap and rotor. Noticed two terminals inside the cap are shaved almost to the edge and thought the reason was wrong installation. After installing a new one, checked it again this morning, did the same, shaved! Went to the junkyard today (50% off) I was thinking of replacing the distributor assy. to my surprise, all 5 of the previas that were there has the same shavings inside their rotors and at the same spot! What could be the problem, anyone?
Check yours and tell me what you see. No wobble of the shaft whatsoever. Strange
