CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO GET THAT DAMN WARNING LIGHT OFF THAT COMES ON AND TELLS YOU TO CHANGE YOUR OIL?? I HAVE AN 0P5 HIGHLANDER. "MAINT. REQUIRED" THANKS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

Hold down the tripometer button and turn the key to the on position and hold till light goes out. then start engine.

Noting the dates of each post, it makes me wonder if this guy ever read the answer given. Also makes me wonder if he ever read his owner's manual. Bigt1006 apparently didn't, as his advice shows. You shoulda told him to put black tape over it.

some people are just too lazy to read the owners manual.

And some will say they lost it or don't have one.

Get a manual if yu don't have one. Or yu will always be using your vehicle with one blind eye.[size=2]

I have read my owners manual to no avail????I'm clueless as to why the warning lite comes on with VSC (Vehicle Stability Control System) and also TRAC OFF is lit up as well.my 2004 Toyota Highlander has very low milage.It drives well,I have tried pushing in the TRAC OFF button but it still stays lit up.The manual says when this occurs take it to a Toyota dealer.
