ok so im getting out of my car the other night (97 camry le) and the door mechanism on the inside of the door snaps off in my hand so i cant get out of my car from the inside, but i can stil get in from the outside. Does anyone know how to fix this maybe? am i going to need to buy a new door for it?

I'm assuming you're talking about the handle used to open the door. If it simply came off, it can be reattached. If it broke, it can easier be replaced. You do not need a new door. If you are mechanically inclined, you can do it yourself. Your local library should have repair manuals which show how. If this is beyond your ability, any auto repair shop will be able to get the part and replace it. Good luck. Hy
