Hello,
I have a 1983 Supra. has approx. 90K on her and she runs excellent. The only problem that I am having is when the transmission shifts I get a loud bang from the driveshaft. I know that I need new U-Joints. Does anybody have any feedback about this problem, has had it before, or knows approx. what it should cost me to repair. Please E-Mail
Harley75xlh@...

P.S. I might sell in the future

Well it wasn't the u-joints. I had the driveshaft rebuilt, $250.00 later and it didn't help. One of the u-joints was bad, but now I think we came to the conclusion that there is something wrong in the rear end itself. Seems that there is alot of play in the rear end approx. 3/4 to a full turn of the driveshaft. Now I guess I'll have to open the rear end up and take a look inside.
