I have a ext cab '93 toyota pickup 4wd with a 4in lift. Here recently my bolts had sheered off the front U-Joint ...After replacing the bolts to the front u-joint; the cardan (or middle u-joint) boot has come forward alittle bit and now the bolts on the rear side of the joint are hitting the joint cover plate... should i replace the joint? it seems fine..just out of place...not good i know. i was wonderin since the bolts sheered off the front u-joint and caused it to hit under the truck...if that just knocked the middle joint out of place or if i have more problems than it seems?!?! also, i need to kno how to fix a trans leak... since the bolts sheered off...i've also found a slow n small leak where the trans n the front u-joint meet. the leak is behind the piece that connects the trans to the shaft & joint. Please help me out here... im not good on drivetrains just the basics.
