I first thought that dual air controls would be a great idea for my husband and I. He's always cold and I'm always too warm in the car. We didn't get this feature and he wishes that we had. I'm not convinced that it would actually do much good as far as the overall temperture that you are feeling.

How well do they work?

We have this feature on our Van. (Pongo's Inner Voice--> hmmm, I guess I could tell them this feature is on my Chrysler Mini-Van, but this is a Toyota forum...ahhh..what the heck).

Yes, this feature works very well, especially here in cold climates. She is always cold and I'm always hot. Now we can individually regulate.

Plus, the kids have their own controls in the back. Life is good.

Well, it sounds like we should have gotten this feature too. We weren't too confident about it so left it off. There are some other features that we didn't get and wished we had. According to my husband all these bells and whistles are just more stuff that will break. I think he just didn't want to part with the money. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Just so I can chime in, I really do like the dual climate controls. It works better than I had imagined it would. Kids tend to annoy me when they mess with their little heater thing in the back, but it does make my wife and I enjoy a ride better.

I get the back controls, but I just couldn't imagine the front controls making all that big of a difference. Wouldn't just closing the vents accomplish the same thing?
