Have a 2006 T/D 100 Series Landcruiser with an intermittent electrical problem. Vehicle has been fitted with an Eclipse AVN 6000 GPS Radio CD player combo and Upgrade Toyota factory alarm system. The problem is car parked and locked by remote and four hours later alarm goes off indicators flash and radio is playing. Vehicle is still locked; remote will not open doors and keys are not in the ignition. Car starts and within two minutes everything resets. This has happened about six time in the past three days. Dealer says he wants to see it happening which is a bit hard getting there with hazard lights going etc. Also the horn has locked on for no reason rectified by starting the engine.

Anyone had any simular problems? If so what was the remedy. Thanks hope someone can assist.

Thanks for the heads up AndyW have had a read and seems to be a fairly common problem, been onto the dealer and and he is willing to put a new alarm in or take it out altogether. So I'll see, might go for a non genuine aftermarket one. Again thanks
