With the unpredictable weather lately you never know what you might encounter while driving. What are some
of the things you should have in your emergency car kit? I know flashlight and flares but what else????

Hmmmm.....GOOD POINT Ken !!

You know, that makes alot of sense to me. So simple, yet so practical.

I'm going to go add it to both our vehicles.

Thanks for that one !!!

Cellphone
Book
Glock 9mm
extra ammo
Snickers
Coke

I can use the cellphone to call for help. I can read the book while waiting. If I gue hungry/thirsty I have the snickers and the coke. The Glock 9mm is for any problems. The extra ammo is in case the problem has friends.

I agree with all of these. I also keep water in my car. (To drink, or in case my engine overheats .) I keep an "emergency" bag for my kids, too. Diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, maybe a blanket or jacket, and powdered formula if you have a baby. Plus, of course, toys to keep them entertained.

You know....that is an excellent thing to: WATER

In my area, when your break down in an emergency there is usually snow....but in the summer....or in the USA.....water would be very important. I will consider that suggestion. One bottle will last a long time and takes next to no room in the back.

Thanks for that.
