I failed the emission test & the print-out has 2 codes on it:

P0401 EGR Flow Insufficient Detected
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

Any idea what this is & what do I have to do to fix it?

All help is appreciated!

EGR valve $30 (or there 'bouts).

Before you change your catalytic converter, you may want to look at the Oxygen sensor(s). One should be upstream and one downstream of the catalytic converter. If that doesn't fix it then you will need a new catalytic converter.
