Hello

I have a 93 3L desiel Hiace which i would like to convert back to a petrol. Does anyone know what toyota engine will bolt on the current gearbox that the 3L is bolted to or do i have to replace both motor and gear box.

That's NOT a good move.

What's wrong with the 3L engine?

Seriously, converting a diesel to a petrol (especially a van where access to the engine bay is limited) is a really BAD idea, for a lot of reasons.

You would be better off to part with it and buy yourself a petrol Hiace if you really want one, although I fail to see why you would - they are not easy on fuel.
