My girlfriend was driving my Rav...which I've had for years and never had any issue!!!( car that is :)!!!!). when it suddenly died on her.
I see the engine light is on and when I kick it over it, it sounds as if the starter is working but engine's not turning over. Tried putting it into gear and kicking it over to see if car moves and it does. Do these models have engine management and can they stop car from starting....and should I try resetting by removal of bat leads as first fault finding effort. Any other steps to fault finding would be appreciated.
