I have an 89 toyota pickup 4x4, i was driving down the road and it died on me, i towed it home and changed the plugs and wires, i got it to start by flooring it and it ran real rough like it was miss firing but wouldnt stay running more than a couple seconds. I adjusted the timing manually (i didnt have a light or anything i did it by engine sound). i got it to run smooth but again for no more than 3-5 seconds and if i hit the pedal it would die immediatly, if anyone would know what could be the problem i would appreciate it. The engine is a rebuilt 22RE

clogged fuel filter maybe won't need much fuel to idle for a few seconds, but once you hit the gas it needs fuel
