Toyota called tonight (at 8:30 PM!) to say my white Prius is in Long Beach! I should have it in 1-2 weeks. I got the floor mats, but declined the single CD. I'll try to get the dealer to install the 6-disc. I am counting the days to a $350 car payment (instead of a $550 Suburban payment), to $40/mo gas cost (instead of $160), and to easy parking (instead of docking the boat)<br>Jim in San Jose

I ordered my Silver Prius on 9/20 and got a call from the sales guy on 10/3 offering me the White demo with 300 miles on it. Since I had already put about 40 of those miles on I took the demo at sticker and skipped the wait. They had sold the Aqua demo earlier in the day. No more demos at Huntington Beach Toyota.

But it also meens that they are not going to sell any more PRIUSes - is that right???<br><br>Robert

They have orders for 4 more butthere is nothing to test drive and it's bound to hurt sales at their store. Current delivery ETA was 12/25 for the car I passed up. They have to wait for another boat load like everybody else.

Last night, 10/10, after 6 months of trying to get DSL from all major providers, and being told by Pacbell that it's not available, I get a call from them "would you be interested in DSL?". I am now waiting for the Lottery commission to call and tell me there has been a grave error in my favor...
