from my understanding, the last year you could get one in the US was '83, though they are few and far between. A while back on the Land Cruiser Mailing List (over 4,000 Cruiserheads worldwide (accessed through www.tlca.com), someone was trying to track down as many '83's as they could, and if I remember correctly something like 200 were found in the US.
