the last year is 83, but i have seen an 84 model. 83 for sure, later

from my understanding, the last year you could get one in the US was '83, though they are few and far between. A while back on the Land Cruiser Mailing List (over 4,000 Cruiserheads worldwide (accessed through www.tlca.com), someone was trying to track down as many '83's as they could, and if I remember correctly something like 200 were found in the US. Of course, there are probably some sitting and rusting on old country backroad and other places like that.<br><br>HTH<br><br>-ben
