front oil seal 0n a 22re. when I changed mine on an 1988 22re I took off the harmonic unbolted the oil pump, removed the old seal, installed a new seal, replaced the oring and bolted the oil pump back on. I don't know what a kwik sleeve is?? the new seal stopped my oil leak and I never had the problem again. I did not have to get behind the timing cover to affect this repair.

If a seal leaks because the shaft is worn, not because the seal is actually bad, a kwik-sleeve, quicky-sleeve, etc slides on and "fixes" the worn spot.
