have a manual transmission from my 1990 Celica GT that has been rebuilt(new bearings and syncros). The gears are in perfect shape no evidence of worn teeth. I recently replaced my tranny with one I purchased that had only 66k miles on it and becuase it works great I do not think I will need to keep the one I rebuilt. The original miles on this tranny is 170k and I replaced it because the 2nd gear syncro was bad and did not like to shift into reverse.
