I bought a 2006 corolla in March, and last week I went to fill up my gas tank and the gas either came back at me or would shut the pump off, I realized the metal lid fell in the filler tube and lodged itself in there. I can pump gas into it, its a little annoying to manually stand there and squeeze the trigger until I think the tank is full. Anyone ever heard of this problem? It will cost 170 for the part.....
