Hi All, I'm now a proud owner of a Toyota Celica 4ws import! I've figured out most of it but what the f**k does the marble do on my passenger dashboard. I think its something to do with my lights but I cant get it to do anything. Any pointers? (There's also a larger one on the boot!) Rob

Think it's something to do with the auto heating system when you click the auto button on the heater control and set the temp it monitors the temp and reports back to the module telling it to put more or less hot/cold air into the interior :) well that's what i'm sticking too anyway LOL

I'll second that opinion..  IIRC its to measure the intensity of the sun through the glass to allow the climate/aircon to compensate.

If it was a sensor for auto lights, there would be an "Auto" setting on the lights switch on the indicator stalk.  Some Celicas did have this feature, others had auto windscreen wipers.
