Hi - I'm just about to receive a 2007 Prius - and want to upgrade the headlights. After reading many discussions, I'd like to try to GE Nighthawks - only I can't seem to find anywhere to either find if they fit - or to buy them. Any help appreciated here. . .

If you have halogen bulbs and not the HID lamps, the bulb number is 9003. For future reference, H4 or HB2 will also fit your vehicle.

You can also click the link below to find out what replacement bulbs you need for the rest of your car:

Ah, yes! I took your info and went to Amazon.com, where I found them for a good price! Thank you! I've read so much about the search(es) for upgraded headlights - and am a bit skeptical about making switch, because I read of short lifespans - only 150-250 hours or so. Not cool. But I also have night-driving issues, as I'm in my 7th decade of life, and the ole eyes ain' what they used-ah to be! (grin)

I'm thinking that I shall order the Nighthawks - and just keep the OEM bulbs in the trunk in case the new lamps do a burn-out number on me at an awkward time.

Maybe you should have gotten these;

safe for your current headlight wiring and DOT legal.

Ah, yes - but a reporter-friend of mine indicates that they have very short life expectancy - under 120 hours. Can't find any definitive stats on them, however. Short lifespan doesn't ring my bell.
