Not a whole lot of time to reply, but I wanted to get this info off to you.<br><br>I too looked at the Tribute. I was a 10 year, 230,000 mile Miata owner. One GREAT car. I was planning to go the Mazda route again. I test drove one and was impressed. I was not impressed with how difficult it was to place an order and get an accurate time frame for a delivery date. Recalls and delays!! I gave up. Next step, I looked at a pre-owned, aw hell call it what it is, used RX300. I found that for about 3,000.00 more I could get a new 2001 RX300. I love it. It drives soooo much better than the Mazda, which I now believe is more and more a Ford. I'll be making a lot more car payments, but I don't regret it one bit. I took delivery on January 3. I purchased it from Westminster Lexus in Brea, California. It is near Orange County and about 35 miles south of LA. So far I have nothing but good things to say about the people Westminster. It was a very simple process, and because I was driving up from San Diego to make the purchase, they made me what they said was a special deal. A White FWD 2001 RX300 with the premium package, (Moonroof, Leather seats, 6 CD changer, cargo mats, wheel locks, cross bars, rear spoiler), for $33,106.00. Tax & license brought it to $36,114.?? out the door. They may not appreciate me passing on this information, but they can always say no, so here's the contact information. If they're happy to have the business and make someone out there who's willing to make the drive a similar deal, well great and I'm happy to help. Maybe they'll toss me a few free oil changes for sending them the Business??? I know how it feels to have budgeted a certain amount of money to purchase a new car, only to then fall in love with a more expensive one. Ug!
