Hi everyone. This is my first online club but I've been a fan of the MR2 since I first seen one back in 1985. I use to own an 86' and recently I bought a 89' after searching for almost 6 months for it. As everyone knows it is the last year of the MKI MR2's. Anyway one of the troubles I'm having is finding really good after market parts and accessories for my car. If anyone can help me with web sites I would really appreciate it. One additional thing, I live in the Chicago land area, so I can help alot on drving the MR2 in poor weather conditions!

mki-

From what I hear most of the aftermarket (at least the big companies) is geared toward the supercharged models... I know that TRD makes a set of springs, HKS can provide a sports exaughst, and AEM makes a set of pullies. other than that and universal stuff like seats and steering wheels/gearknobs, all the stuff I've seen is for the S/C.

What kind of parts are you looking for? I can tell you from personal experiance that the 2nd gen MR2 is the car you will find in most aftermarket catalogs but there are some parts and if your really adventurous you can make your own upgrades.
This is totally unrelated but check out the sweet MR2 at this page
http://www.mr2.com/ARTICLE/MisterMeaner.html
